The story

Not every build starts with a blueprint. For Arshan Adili — cofounder of Pars Auto Market — it started with a dad's car. His father bought a 2001 BMW 330Ci brand new, and growing up around that inline-six is where everything clicked. The sound, the feel, the way a BMW just drives differently. It planted a seed that never went away. When it came time for his own car, there was never any question. A 2014 435i in Alpine White landed in his driveway, and the build began — quietly, patiently. The modifications are intentional rather than extreme: a CTS Turbo cold air intake, 18-inch Apex wheels, blacked-out kidney grilles, and a carbon front lip. Nothing flashy, nothing gratuitous. But getting there wasn't easy. Finding the CTS intake in good used condition took eight months of daily searching — scrolling Facebook Marketplace, posting in forums, reaching out to strangers. It was the kind of process that shouldn't be as hard as it is. That frustration didn't go to waste. The experience of hunting for quality used parts — knowing they exist but not being able to find them easily — became one of the driving forces behind building Pars Auto Market. Even though it's not a crazy car, Arshan genuinely loves it. It's his car, built his way, and it carries the story of why we built Pars.

Q&A

Where does your love of BMWs come from?

My dad bought a 2001 BMW 330Ci brand new. He loved that car. That's where my love of BMWs — and really cars in general — started. The inline-six sound, the way it drove. When I finally got my 435i, he told me it reminded him of his own. That meant a lot.

What was the hardest part to find?

The CTS Turbo cold air intake, by far. I knew exactly what I wanted, but finding one used in good condition took almost eight months. I was on Facebook Marketplace every single day. When I finally found it, I almost couldn't believe it. That search is a big part of why we built Pars — quality parts exist, but finding them shouldn't be that hard.

Even though it's not a crazy build, how do you feel about this car?

I genuinely love it so much. It's not some extreme build, but everything on it is there for a reason. The red interior, the Apex wheels, the intake — it all just feels right. It makes me want to drive it every single day.

How did building this car influence Pars Auto Market?

Directly. Spending eight months hunting for one intake made me realize how broken the used performance parts market really is. You're either paying full retail for new, or digging through sketchy listings hoping to find something decent. There had to be a better platform for this — and that became Pars.
